All About the Colorado City Music Festival in the Beautiful Maxwell Canyon, in Hildale UT

Colorado City Music Festival is an all-inclusive and family-friendly music festival in the Beautiful Maxwell Canyon, in Hildale UT. We have all genres from folk to hard rock to country, and it’s all live music. We also have a beer garden for older members of your group. At our music festival, we have something for everyone, and we hope to see you there. 

The Colorado City Music Festival that takes place in the community of in Short Creek (the twin cities of Colorado City, Arizona and Hildale, Utah). The event is a venture of Tom Bennett of Sweet Salt Records and Dawn and Ken Black both born and raised in Colorado City, AZ. Our first festival on April 22nd, 2017 was a massive success with around 1,500 people in attendance!

This event has drawn the attention of a great deal of regional media as well as USA Today.

The community of Short Creek is experiencing a rapid evolution. Once home of the FLDS Mormon Fundamentalists, it is now the home of a diverse community. While the FLDS still have a presence in the area, there has been an increase in business’, including a number of restaurants, a hardware store, a grocery store, and a brewery. Come see the wonderful growth and changes in this picturesque piece of heaven on Earth.
